Requirements

• General Requirements For All Courses:
  All courses at Leon's Beauty School require:
• A High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• A personal interview with the Admissions Director
• Succesfully complete entrance evaluation
• Take Admission Apptitude Exam
• Students receiving benefits from any Veterans Administration educational program must also submit a high school transcript.

Teacher Training (800 hours cosmetology; 650 hours esthetics,320 hours manicuring )

Additional Requirements for this course include:

• Completed Cosmetology/Esthetics/Manicuring course in a licensed school
• Hold current NC Cosmetology / Esthetics / Manicuring license
• Pass with 85% or better on State Board written and practical exam
• Pass a practical/demonstration entrance exam given by the Director of Education
