Leon's Beauty Salons will celebrates its 65th anniversary this year.

From its humble beginnings as a six-chair beauty salon on Tate Street in 1945 to today's eight salons and renowned school, Leon's has always made its presence know as a superior business and community institution. The beauty school would open in 1963, also on that same Tate Street block, with flair as it was called "Maison de Paris."

Thousands of students have attended the school and thousands more have visited Leon's salons in Greensboro, N.C.
